We are excited to introduce our new season of floral workshops, in collaboration with our friends at Cheadle Hulme’s brand new cookery school and event space At The Kitchen. The workshops will be run by Laura Taylor, owner of Green Earth Flowers, and a florist with over twelve years’ experience, and will take place in the fantastic purpose-built space at At The Kitchen.
Summer Hand Tied Workshop
Wednesday 20th June 2018 · 7pm – 9.30pm

Join us for a relaxed evening surrounded by stunning summer blooms. The evening will start with a demonstration of how to construct a hand-tied bouquet in a loose and rustic style, after which you will be let loose to create your own masterpiece using a selection of seasonal flowers and foliages.
You will also get tips on how to condition flowers and what to do to make them last as long as possible.
All materials will be provided and you will get to take your creation home at the end of the night. Refreshments and cake will be provided.
Flower crown workshop

Perfect for festival season or for those wanting to bring a bit of bohemian glamour to their summer, this workshop will teach you all the techniques for making a beautiful fresh flower crown.
This is the ideal workshop for a group of friends to spend an evening getting creative with a bounty of summer blooms. You will learn wiring techniques for a variety of different flower types, which you can then use to create your very own floral headdress. You will be able to finish your masterpiece with a selection of colourful ribbons.
All materials will be provided and you will get to take your creation home at the end of the night.
Wednesday 11th July 2018 · 7pm – 9.30pm

Join us for an evening full of inspirational ideas to dress your dinner table to perfection.
The evening will start with a demonstration of a seasonal table arrangement after which you will be let loose to create your own masterpiece using a selection of beautiful summer flowers and foliages. Once everyone has completed their table designs, we will work together as a group to create a fabulous tablescape, combining your designs with an assortment of props such as candlesticks, votives, plants, moss, fruits and fabrics. You will then sit down to enjoy drinks and nibbles surrounded by what we have created!
All materials will be provided and you will get to take your table arrangement home at the end of the night.
